Guadeloupe has the status of a full région of France and is an outermost region of the European Union. Travel to Guadeloupe requires a passport. If your passport is not valid at time of entry and return, you MUST get a new passport ASAP. If your travel to Guadeloupe requires a visa, get a visa.
April 1, 2025
Pay your 2nd installment of the remaining charter cost..

June 1, 2025
Provide a copy of your passport picture page AND your address for the crew-list.
Provide your WhatsApp account. We use WhatsApp for our sailing group chat.
Review our itinerary (Link to be provided). Feedback and improvement suggestions are welcome.
Divers only:
Provide a photo of your diving certification. Minimum level: Open Water or equivalent.
Complete and sign your Boat Travel and Scuba Diving Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement. Link to be provided.
Provide the dive equipment items you would like to rent (Link to be provided)
June 28, 2025

Please volunteer ❤️ to the meal-planning team (2-3 guests) so that the meal-planning team can start creating the meal plan and a shopping list. Link to template to be provided.

July 12, 2025
11AM: Arrive at the Base. The name of our yacht will be listed in section "Our Yacht" as soon as the charter company provides it.
11AM: We shop for food & drinks.
11AM: We get our dive equipment rentals from the dive shop..
2PM: Early boarding. Embarkation, load yacht & crew orientation.
While boarding and loading, please document & report any pre-existing damages, such as a loose drawer, a missing knob, a scratch, etc
3:30PM: Set sails.
July 19, 2025
10AM deboard yacht and leave the marina after we unloaded and cleaned the yacht.
Add your shared expenses including receipts to our splitwise account (link to be provided).

Travel to the Base
Option 1: Fly to Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP) on Guadeloupe. Taxi to Base approx 15 mins.
Option 2: Fly to the Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM) (STT) on the island of Dominica, 2-hour ferry to Pointe à Pitre.

Our Yacht
44-foot catamaran with 3-level layout.
The top level features the panoramic Captain’s bridge with a large open view and party lounge.
The spacious main deck includes a large "open-concept" kitchen-living-dining area with innovative retractable enclosures, plus a solid forward party-dining-yoga deck, which - rare for a yacht this size - is directly accessible from the kitchen.
The lower deck comprises 4 double staterooms with queen-size bed and bath/shower, as well as 2 single cabin accessed via a hatch.

Hurricanes • Natural Disasters
The Charter company does not have a hurricane or natural disaster policy: "We really do it "case by case" or better to say situation by situation. When hurricane hit Grenada, we offered reschedule, so I believe if anything like that happens, we will be flexible as always, at least in changing the destination."

Non-charter sailing expenses
Non-charter sailing expenses such as diesel, water, harbor and marine park fees, damages we cause, etc., as well as food and drinks are not included in the charter costs. We share these expenses as a group using Splitwise. Keep your receipts.
Food • Drinks
We plan to provision the yacht with food and drinks as a group on the day of boarding and re-provision, as needed, on the islands.
We'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the picturesque restaurants and experience the lively nightlife on the islands.

Scuba • Snorkel • Swimming
Snorkel gear and scuba gear are not included in the charter cost.
We plan to rent scuba tanks & weights for the divers onboard as a group.
Open Water Certification such as PADI Open Water, SSI Open Water or equivalent is required for diving.
